Key Focus:

  • Key Focus: Develop and manage comprehensive sales plans for key North American majors and e-commerce accounts for RTW and swimwear while maintaining an immersive brand experience.

Business Analysis and Planning:

  • Well versed in the North American contemporary market and understands what the needs are for each division and how they can be achieved through product and business strategy
  • Analyze selling on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis to identify opportunities to drive business
  • Develop in conjunction with Director – Global Wholesale comprehensive revenue plans and distribution strategy by account
  • Ability to prepare topline selling recaps to highlight key business insights and volume driving opportunities and present to cross functional teams
  • Strong ability to plan, prepare, and execute NY market

Account Management:

  • Achieve revenue targets through correct product assortment and merchandise opportunity both in market and in season
  • Sell collections with strong presence in the showroom and ability to proactively recommend assortments to accounts with a balanced presentation of Fashion and Commercial styles
  • Influence category assortments by analyzing product performance, customer feedback, consumer trend, competitive landscape, and local market knowledge to merchants
  • Ensure all orders are entered accurately and confirmed to accounts within a timely manner
  • Proactively maintain budgets, forecast projections and create business reviews for high-level summary for Executive review
  • Build and execute sales strategies to ensure continued growth and sell out of each account
  • Partner with Production and Logistics to monitor shipping targets and cancel dates
  • Proactively collaborate with cross functional departments such as Merchandising / DTC to plan and chase recut / reorder opportunities for key retailers
  • Manage inventory to minimize end of season stock
  • Travel to key markets to assess current distribution, competitive landscape, and ensure proper Brand placement
  • Develop and oversee training collateral for key retail partners
  • Execute cooperative marketing opportunities to align with top line sales strategies
  • Partner with Merchandising to recommend product offer and collection line edits

Leadership Skills:

  • Demonstrate ability to develop and empower team members by coaching on both technical and soft skills
  • Proven track record of effectively leading teams in an ambiguous and changing environment to achieve goals and deliver results to broader organization.
  • Ability to show empathy

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of wholesale experience. Buying and/or Retail or Sales management, a strong plus
  • Direct relationships with Majors and high-level specialty store accounts is a must
  • Ability to effectively plan and execute strategy
  • Ability to solve problems as well as recognize issues and deal with them directly
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong product knowledge in contemporary market
  • Strong retail analysis and computer skills
  • Highly motivated and organized
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Team player mentality
