West Coast Account Executive

Responsible for being the brand ambassador when presenting the collections Work closely with President of Sales with budget preparation based on sell/thru, gross margins, inventory, shipped and competition Partner with accounts to obtain sales plans before market and orders in a timely manner after market Will work closely with all accounts to ensure brand identity and seasonal strategies are upheld Coordinate with accounts' marketing departments to promote brand image by forwarding current strategies, advertising campaigns, and press releases Partner with across teams within the company; Customer Service to ensure timely shipments, EDI and Planning teams for pricing adjustments and allocation, Merchandising team to identify trends and market needs, and closely partner with the Retail Specialist team. Review & analyze weekly delivery & by style selling to pinpoint opportunities & challenges Update and distribute internal selling reports as needed Compiles and grows lists of prospects and maintains and strengthens current client relations May assist with relations and sales to the Majors Travel to accounts, industry events, team meetings


Key Requirements & Education

Minimum 4 years of current relevant sales/ account executive experience in an advanced contemporary women’s markets Must have relationships with key buyer, owner,  and DMM contacts at specialty stores, some Major contacts helpful Ability to speak in public and in front of large groups of people (summit, conclave, presentations, etc.) Strong MS Excel and full understanding of retail math and financials. Bachelor’s or Associates degree from a college or university, or a combination of education & experience may be considered
