Vice President of Sales
Critical Job Functions
? Create new and deepen existing national and regional department store relationships.
? Develop national, regional, and channel sales strategies and objectives.
? Create, develop and manage internal sales team to focus on independent boutiques and specialty stores.
? Lead and manage current independent Rep organization by recruiting, hiring, educating and managing new regional independent Reps as needed.
? Establish effective processes with internal sales team and independent Reps to ensure consistent and productive customer relationships.
? Develop sales incentive programs to drive growth while maintaining or improving margins.
? Provide the operations team with annual forecasts and rolling projections.
? Set financial objectives by forecasting sales, preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions.
? Work closely with senior management and marketing to analyze business and product trends, opportunities for growth and development of actions plans to maximize sales.
? Work with the marketing and R&D teams to help develop products that will be embraced by consumers and retailer partners.
? Maintain a strong working knowledge of our competitor’s products and services, competitive product features and programs as well as applications utilized by our customer base.
