Exciting Retail Brand looking for a Vice President of HR!  DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

This role will work collaboratively with  Corporate & Retail partners in achieving & exceeding business objectives through supporting & driving employee life cycle in the following areas:

Employee relations including retention & engagement Talent & Leadership Development Performance management Talent attraction & acquisition "employer of choice" efforts Diversity & Inclusion HR systems & processes, policies & procedures Overall Compliance "Culture Captain" Keeping relevant and on top of the latest & greatest Compensation & Benefits management Develop deep relationships and build trust with key stakeholders and business leaders to provide thought leadership on people-related strategies Promote a culture of feedback and open communication, reinforcing mission and core values Guide and coach employees on how to appropriately manage and resolve complex people issues  Lead the design, implementation, and iteration of new people programs; assess and improve current one Engage on issues of organizational design, process, and workflows in order to help teams operate more effectively and reach peak efficiency Utilize people metrics to drive key insights and decisions around engagement and retention Partner with recruiting team to ensure a positive and memorable candidate experience Build a pipeline of both internal succession as well as an external network of candidates Partner with legal to ensure that all associate relations issues are handled appropriately Continue to build and evolve the onboarding process and employee evaluation process; Build strategy to attract & retain top talent at all levels within the organization Design and implement strategic diversity, equality, and inclusion plans based on workforce diagnostic and analysis of quantitative and qualitative data. Lead DEI initiatives, set and achieve goals. Collaborates across all areas of the business to ensure DEI goals are incorporated into areas such as but not limited to hiring & onboarding, training & development, and communication. Mitigates risk across the portfolio

REQUIREMENTS:

8+ yrs. experience in a fast-paced environment creating, scaling and implementing HR policies & programs Significant experience with performance management and associate relations Proven experience in organizational development, management training and employee coaching Excellent project management skills, with an ability to design and implement strategies that align and drive business results Strong understanding of local and national employment laws and regulations & compliance Successful track record of influencing and advising executive leadership on talent & employment matters 10+ years prior experience managing direct reports, mentoring and developing HR talent Common sense, exhibits sound judgment based on facts and experience Retail experience preferred
