About the Job:

Strategize, execute and report on the monthly content plans for all major social media channels – Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. Conceptualize and lead the creation of compelling content and partnerships that engages our current audience and garners new fans and followers Collaborate with the creative director to help create imagery (such as photos, videos, GIFs, and platform-specific graphics) that aligns with the brands aesthetics Source and schedule day-to-day editorial and inspirational content across social channels for Brands Strong focus on growing following and engagement of all social media accounts Track success of social posts and contribute to overall brand strategy/content calendar Manage all brand’s social communities by responding to all comments, questions, and concerns on social channels Engage with our social community by liking, commenting, and interacting with our fans and potential customers Strategize on new tactics and ideas to grow follower base and engagement Monitor competitive activity and community platforms to identify trends and opportunities Work with the Customer Service team to quickly and politely respond to customer concerns across Instagram and all social platforms Work with the Influencer Marketing team to manage influencer re-posts and identify potential influencer partners Work with the Brand Marketing team to create, manage, and engage on partner launches/posts Attend industry events as a representative of company with the objective of making friends, creating content, and connecting with the community IRL Serve as primary contact for third-party social media partners and vendors Identify opportunities to partner with like-minded businesses and influencers to further team objectives and expand all brand’s awareness and customer engagement

Required Skills

3+ years social media experience in beauty, fashion, skincare or wellness industry Bachelor’s degree with a major or concentration in journalism /marketing, or relevant experience Detailed-oriented, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple project deadlines efficiently Superior verbal, written, copy editing and proofreading skills Experience with native social media reporting tools and content creation apps
