Senior Account Executive

Senior Account Executive: Successful Outerwear company with great product is looking to add a Senior AE who might be responsible for leading, planning and implementing the company’s sales policies, objectives and initiatives focusing on the North America. The candidate must have experience working with high-end majors including but not limited to Saks and Bloomingdales, Shopbop, strong relationships with specialty shops and boutiques and off price accounts.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Partner with senior management to drive company’s strategic initiatives as well as establishing sales, margin and inventory goals. Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals Develop and execute a holistic approach to channel strategy Work closely with design and merchandising team to align on product range, pricing, and delivery as well product assortment. Work to ensure year over year adoption rate for all accounts Work cross-functionally with Design, and Sales Support teams on account analysis to optimize results Manage monthly sales performance by account (including sales booked and shipped) to ensure goals are being met and provide competitive market analysis by category Manage sales budgets Define optimal sales force structure Create a culture of success and ongoing business goal achievement Define and coordinate sales training programs that enable staff/showrooms to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives Manage customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction Define sales processes that drive desired sales outcomes and identify improvements when required Collaborate on infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to company leadership team Work closely with marketing to establish successful channel and partner programs, positioning the brand properly from a point of sale perspective Manage key account relationships and participate in strategic opportunities Responsible for organizing market appointments, client trips, and presentation preparation Travel for in-person meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships Direct sales forecasting activities and set performance goals for short and long-term sales strategies

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree Experience working with retailers such as Shopbop, Saks, Bloomingdales and Nordstrom Strong relationships with specialty and off price is a must Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, Powerpoint
