Regional Sales Manager

Luxury CPG company is seeking a Regional Operations Manager to oversee the daily and long-term success of  stores in the NYC area. This position will liaise with the Store Managers to maintain day-to-day store operations, ensure the accuracy of brand representation and increase the customer-base in the region. This position reports into the company President. The ideal Regional Operations Manager has in-depth experience in overall store operations and retail management, including setting and adjusting sales goals based on industry knowledge, current market trends and individual store selling patterns. Additionally, hands-on experience in the training of retail store managers and team is highly preferred. General Duties Include Plan and monitor the day-to-day running of stores to ensure smooth operations Support the store managers with business-success matters, such as sales strategies and training the staff in sales techniques Support the store manager with personnel matters, including final round interviews, termination decisions, conflict resolution, salary negotiations, seasonal headcount forecasting and the like Identify store inefficiencies, propose solutions and implement when approved by the Company President Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors/service providers Manage unexpected store hurdles and partner with necessary parties and service providers to resolve issues Oversee customer support processes, strategizing to enhance overall customer satisfaction Revise and/or formulate necessary policies along with the Company President and HR, then promote implementation Evaluate overall store performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting sales performance Ensure that the stores run with legality and conformity to company regulations, regional laws, property requirements Review financial information and adjust operational costs to promote profitability Prepare and review the annual budget for each store/region of responsibility Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth Participate in decisions for expansion or acquisition Other role related duties as assigned by the company President Desired Qualifications Include At least five (5) years of experience as an Area Manager, General Manager, Director of Operations or similar senior operations role, preferably in premium retail, luxury goods, hospitality or fine food Degree in Business Administration or relevant field Outstanding communication and people skills Strong conceptual approach, strategic planning and implementation skills Knowledge of the retail industry’s legal rules and guidelines (specific to the region) In depth knowledge of diverse business functions and principles (ex. supply chain, finance, customer service etc.) Passionate about meeting and exceeding the expectations of our business objectives Excellent organizational and leadership abilities Strong analytical skills, ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs) Outstanding communication and people skills Availability to travel as needed Compensation Include Competitive Pay Employee Discount Health Benefits (optional) 401K (optional)
