Director of Product Strategy
High growth DTC start-up infant nutrition company is hiring a Director of Digital Product Strategy! This is a Product Management/Strategy role and new position for the company. Reports into VP Growth Marketing & Digital Product. Requires heavy tech experience building product roadmaps, working with engineers, UX, etc.
Role ResponsibilitiesLeading the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative digital products that enable customers to interact with our community and purchase our products. Collaborating with cross-functional partners across our org and its design and development agencies. This role will gather requirements from across regulatory, brand, operations, research and growth marketing and product development. Creating and articulating a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap; getting alignment from cross-functional team members and executives to translate vision into prioritized their vision. Defining product metrics, objectives, and key results to guide, prioritize, and measure the success of the product strategy with a focus on revenue optimization. Integrating research, data, and market analysis into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction. Manage and mentor junior team member/s to execute site production and conversion rate optimization (CRO) Serve as key point of contact for vendors across Digital Systems and Tools (specifically Marketing Technology) Identify and hold agency partners accountable for product delivery to schedule, scope and budget.
Skills & QualificationsA strong business thinker who thrives in scaling businesses efficiently and effectively, taking real ownership and accountability over their work and results Technically literate and able to make recommendations, and interpret SME recommendations to reduce technical debt and increase efficiency Proven digital marketing leader who understands and has worked across the full DTC marketing funnel, including acquisition experience and attribution A customer centric leader; someone who puts the customer at the core of their strategy and invests in creating great experiences that reinforce the bigger mission of the business, ,while representing the customer’s preferences and behaviors in product development processes Is a highly analytical, structured thinker who is able to glean clear, salient ideas from complex information and very clearly communicate them to a diverse set of stakeholders in a way they will understand and align on next steps. A highly organized “doer” with an exceptional ability to multitask, who will take initiative and execute and thrives on developing structure around something new An empathetic leader that enjoys coaching and supporting their team’s development A natural collaborator. Someone with a passion for working collaboratively and cross-functionally with other teams with an ability to prioritize requirements across function Experience working with both in-house teams and agency teams across digital product, design and engineering teams No task too small mentality, willing to roll up sleeves and get things done ~10 years of work experience, with at least 5+ years in eCommerce preferably with subscription experience
