Director of Performance Marketing

High growth, PE backed, Fashion (meets fitness) company is hiring a Director of Performance Marketing! You will be responsible for driving the strategy and planning for paid social, paid search, affiliate, email, display, and organic search to drive sales and engagement for both digital commerce and stores. You will be responsible for ensuring all digital marketing campaigns are driving qualified traffic, hitting ROAS and overall program performance goals, leveraging iterative testing and data analysis. You should have a passion for performance marketing and hitting KPIs. You have a proven track record for driving direct response digital marketing programs. You will manage the digital channels’ forecasts and plans while developing, enhancing and growing these channels through not only optimization efforts but also through championing and implementing new ideas and campaigns.

 

 

Responsibilities:

Lead a consumer-first strategy and manage paid social, paid search, display, email, affiliate, and organic search (SEO) ensuring campaigns are driving qualified traffic and conversion to drive topline revenue goals Develop a strategy that focuses on consumer acquisition, conversion, and retention utilizing insights and deploying data-driven insights across channels Manage development of marketing channel plans and goals to meet performance targets and ensure alignment with fiscal budgets and forecasts Prioritize data at the center of all business decisions to effectively deploy the best marketing strategies and tactics across all consumer touchpoints Develop email marketing cadence and frequency with the goal of increasing performance of behavioral and lifecycle triggers Develop paid search campaigns and new program initiatives with a focus on acquisition, engagement, and retention strategy, leveraging CRM lists and segmentation to optimize and meet customer strategy targets Partner with third party agencies for email, paid search, SEO, and affiliate marketing channels to develop content strategy and translate business goals into digital strategies Measure and optimize campaign performance, leveraging analysis and data to both identify optimization within the current business and new opportunities for growth Socialize campaign analysis and hindsights. Synthesize information to clearly communicate key learnings, actionable strategy, and recommend new opportunities to leadership Develop a culture of testing which includes but is not limited to A/B testing for email subject lines and creative Manage digital marketing promotional cadence and planning including development of new and innovative ideas, programs, measurement, and reporting on ROAS and campaign performance Socialize channel strategy, priorities, and goals to ensure cross-functional alignment and effective performance marketing management Oversee channel briefs, ensuring all requests meet campaign needs and timelines. Responsible for approval of all assets before campaign launch Continuously staying up to date on industry trends and innovations to maintain detailed knowledge of digital marketing best practices and the retail direct to consumer landscape

 

Requirements/Skills:

Bachelor’s in Marketing or related field preferred 6+ years of E-commerce & Digital Marketing experience, including experience in CRM, email, affiliate, paid social, paid search, organic search, SEO, and display 3+ years of management experience Brand experience with digital fashion/retail strong preferred. Proven track record of managing digital marketing channels and successfully optimizing performance Strong analytics skills including ability to synthesize data and provide insights and strategic actions. Self-motivator with collaborative spirit Knowledge of digital marketing best practices Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and work cross-functionally Proven strategic thinking, analytical, data interpretation, and problem-solving skills Strong project management and process development capabilities Demonstrated oral and written communication skills Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and experience manipulating data and performing calculations in Excel to create reports (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, formatting, and dashboards)
