Wholesale Sr Planner
Cool Men's Brand is looking for a Sr Wholesale Planner who will work closely with the Head of Wholesale Planning within the wholesale division of the business, taking ownership for specific product areas.
The team includes, Jr. Planner, Sr. Allocator, and Allocators.
Reporting to: Head of Wholesale Planning
PlanningCreate buy plans across different product areas to be approved by Head of Planning, setting up parameters focusing on profit and risk to the business. Create and manage bibles for designated product areas, reforecasting during selling season to. Ensure enough stock is booked to cover sales orders and in season trading opportunities. Oversee the completion of buys with Sales team Set overall financial plans for selling season with Sales Teams, break these down by product area/Trustee and sign off by Head of Planning. Provide end of season selling analysis and present information back to the business in conjunction with the Sales team. Set teams financial period targets for invoicing and margin. Create monthly product drops for key trustee based on negotiated receipt plans to be presented by sales team Prepare detailed analysis to support selling appointments
TradingAttend Trustee trade meetings, working with designated Sales Guardian to maximising in season trading. Support team to ensure monthly invoicing targets are achieved, with regular reviews of delivery schedules. Review perennial styles trackers with Jr. Planners to develop exit strategies, communicate with trustees and raise potential stock risks to Head of Planning Complete period review reports for use in board pack Ensure all Trade Agreements are generated and maintained to ensure Trustees are charged correct prices Liaising with other areas of the business i.e. Production, Retail division. Manage all promotional activity with Retail team and strategize to maximize volume during key sale times based on stock position Create and track monthly receipt/sales plans for Trustees Plan and calculate all RTV,s margin support, discounts to be approved by Head of Planning Manage monthly SPAs with Nordstrom and Sales Team to ensure we end healthy end of year Review Monthly business for all trustees with Sales Team, join sales teams on business review calls and communicate identified wins and challenges to key team members Strategic exit of residual inventory at end of season with trustees and Retail Division Manage day to day queries/problems that arise within the department.
