A fine linens and luxury home décor company is seeking a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to oversee all digital marketing (and some offline) channels for a high-growth, thriving ecommerce business. This is a new role within the organization and is a terrific opportunity for a strategic marketer to run with the momentum we’ve already built.
The ideal candidate is results driven, resourceful, has a track record of being proactive, and is able to roll up sleeves to get the job done. This person is hungry to learn, has a strong work ethic and possesses a positive attitude while managing multiple priorities concurrently. While the role requires agility in toggling between the creative and analytical, the ideal candidate leans towards being analytically oriented and is fluent at leveraging data to make decisions and formulate strategies.
This person will not only run regular reporting on key metrics (traffic, channel, acquisition, cost of acquisition and ROAS), but also deep dive into data and keep on top of marketing advancements to provide strategic guidance on growth opportunities. This candidate is fully versed in one or more analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Omniture), must have a working knowledge of all major digital ad platforms, and is able to optimize each channel and maximize revenue. Setting up A/B testing, segmentation and devising a CRM strategy will all be part of the Senior Manager’s role.
This candidate is also a strong story-teller. S/he has a track record of telling the brand story and connecting with customers through new digital mediums such as video, social and interactive landing pages that tell the company heritage story and why the company is in a class of their own. This person will develop the editorial calendar for the year and will ensure that all channels work in tandem to promote the themes for each season. In particular, increasing engagement, activating and reactivating customers through email and CRM will be critical to growing a loyal base.
This role reports into the VP of Ecommerce and will have one direct report to start.
RESPONSIBILITIESCreate an engaging editorial calendar that tells the company story and lifestyle Infuse all marketing channels with the brand voice and story to connect with customers; ensure that the experience across all channels are consistent and elevated Optimize and maximize all digital channels to deliver traffic, acquisition, ROAS and COA goals Flawlessly execute all campaigns; test & refine campaigns smartly Develop CRM program and increase loyalty and affinity for brand Evaluate new marketing opportunities, assist in identifying new vendors, onboard and manage those vendors Assist with ad hoc requests as assigned
REQUIREMENTS5-7 years of solid work experience with a demonstrated track record of delivering results Self-motivation and leadership in academics as well as in the workplace A keen sense of attention to detail Deep familiarity with Google Analytics at a minimum; advanced analytics experience (e.g. Omniture) is a plus Strong written and quantitative skills using Excel and Powerpoint at a minimum Bachelor’s degree is required, MBA is a plus Interest in luxury products and home décor is a plus
