High-end RTW brand seeking a Senior Account Executive to manage specialty sales. Will also sell fashion jewelry, which is smaller category
Strategy & InnovationCultivate existing accounts and seek opportunities to expand on business within existing accounts Conduct market research and perform competitive analysis, identify key market players Cultivate and prospect new target accounts to expand on current business Articulate key strategic initiatives for brand Negotiate terms, OTB, and locations
Operations & ResultsMonitor partners’ retail sales performance Analyze partners’ business plans and OTB. Direct brand and price positioning with Partners. Identify local market needs and opportunities. Liaise with VP Sales, Design and Production in executing product opportunities. Lead regular review of shipments and orders, sales and stock levels, extensions and negotiations, initial bookings and saving of fall out dollars. Ensure key accounts reach target sell thrus with brand support where needed
Customers & RelationshipsManage the cultivation, development and maintenance of relationships with new and existing clients Same with cross functioning departments. Manage communications and feedback between customers and internal partners in Sales, Design, Production, Marketing, PR and Ecom.
Leadership & TeamsContribute positively to team dynamic Train and coach junior team members in selling, negotiating and presentation skills
RequirementsSolid background with a contemporary women’s RTW and Fashion Jewelry Brand; articulate communicator both spoken and written, strengths in excel, solid understanding of retail math, retail math analytics, trend research and understanding volume drivers, inventory levels, style selling, detail oriented, accuracy with orders, delivery dates, buy layouts and order proposals. Top candidate for departmental needs will have: solid understanding of retail math, data and merchant business approach, detail oriented person, strong time management skills, organized and organizer of day to day business needs. Patient, positive, and even keel approach to work. Manages up, down and laterally with colleagues to attain dept. goals.
