Regional Vice President
Major Retailer is looking for a Regional Vice President to oversee several hundred stores in the Western section of the Country! What We Do – Accountabilities:Assures achievement of financial objectives. Assures effective implementation and execution of company plans and strategies throughout assigned districts. Assures effective design, communication, implementation and business results of store team strategies. Assures a consistent in-store experience that supports the Brand and exceeds the Customer's expectations. Assures selection, development and retention of high caliber Associates of diverse cultures, backgrounds and experiences from both inside and outside of the organization.
Essential FunctionsProviding clear, concise and timely communication between the retail corporate and field organization; providing effective, professional representation of both corporate and field teams. Providing input to influence future plans and strategies based on objective analysis; driving specific field organization tactics to deliver goals. Communicating and partnering on real estate opportunities and changes. Monitoring competition and communicating activity. Channeling feedback and recommendations to respective cross- functional departments for continuous improvement. Delivering consistent operations within all districts and channels including defining and monitoring execution of service and visual standards. Assessing talent and ensuring viable succession plans are in place. Acting as partner to Talent Manager in ensuring consistency in assessment of talent. Collaborating with peers to achieve chain-wide consistency across Regions. Focusing on innovative ways to improve opportunities for success for our stores. Eliminating obstacles that impact our stores’ ability to sell shoes and service our customers. Identifying sales maximization vehicles to tie sales education efforts to results. Creating a professional culture where associates’ contributions are valued, respected, and appreciated.
