RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of line extensions, product improvements and new product development including packaging, profitability, etc. • Track and analyze business, product performance vs. objectives, identify issues, opportunities and corrective action plans. • Conduct analysis to identify new products and packaging opportunities. • Work with market research to address consumer product needs / insights. • Maintain regular close contact with customers and Sales team. • Collaborate with technical product development and factory teams. • Participate in the development of Customer or Channel Specific Marketing Strategies.
REQUIREMENTS • 4--6 years of CPG product management experience • Consumer products experience / consumer centric, preferably in the baby products space • Strong strategic thinking capabilities with a General Manager mindset. • Ability to motivate and lead a cross-functional team. • Proven organizational leadership including cross-functional and senior management. • Ability to work independently in a lean organization: detail-oriented, self-starter, hands-on. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a variety of individuals and audiences. • Detailed analytical skills and ability to leverage syndicated data sources. • Skilled in prioritizing, organizing and managing multiple projects. • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
