National Sales Head
Achieve Sales as per Business Plan:
Lead the vision and detailed business plan for new ventures / Business Channels/ Non Traditional Channels. Develop and propose Market Strategies for market penetration in respective ventures. Identify, develop and propose market opportunities for upcoming technologies, M&As and start-up proposals in alignment with Overall Business Goals and Philosophy.
Lead Sales team in the geography to achieve sales targets of the budget taken for business. Develop creative sales technique to meet business goals. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements. Establish new channels and new categories. Strategise with management to develop Sales Plan, Budget and way forward. Ensure customer payments are received on time and no outstanding is in balance.
Customer Relationship: Build positive response and relationship with existing and new customers for business. Identify and contact potential customers for new business opportunities. Ensure customer issues and queries are timely addressed. Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with customer needs. Initiate And Maintain Relationships With Key Persons from the customer organization. Consistently look out for new partners and focus on building Relationship which can be converted into Business. Ensure Networking and relationship management with Customer Groups and Industry Bodies.
Inventory: Maintain optimum order inventory and ensure no inactive inventory in stock.
Building & Maintaining Strong Network:
Plan market weeks, trade shows and special events. Engage in Sales Conferences, Industry meetings, and social networks to represent company’s brand. Keep abreast of new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board. Be a Torch Bearer and brand Ambassador of Welspun Values and ensure it cascades down the line
Conduct extensive market analysis and research to understand product requirements across geographies.
Collaborate with related teams across geographies to customize/develop products based on customer needs.
Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and peers on Executive Management to ensure the correct focus.
Provide clear directions on strategic goals, translating and prioritizing them into business and performance measures.
Lead, inspire and coach a team of high calibre professionals, creating succession to key roles and enhancing the organization's management capability.
Monitor the strict adherence to governance and setting high standards of professionalism across the functions.
Ensure that managers create effective workforce plans and recruitment demands plans for their areas.
Review Performance Improvement reports to determine effectiveness of interventions.
