Marketing Manager - Promotions, Events




Create the annual event strategy, calendar and planning in partnership with the Sales Department and key Retail Partners, defining Event Theme, GWP/Promo offering, Sales Goal and Marketing Activation Prepare and maintain updates to annual Event Strategy Deck, along with Post Mortem deck to share out monthly Ideate and execute “Event in a Box” Collateral and Activation Tools to support new product launches Develop working relationships with outside vendors to negotiate pricing Leveraging insights from field teams and market research to create best-in-class and on-brand event activations



Lead the development and execution of all GWP's and Samples for the company, partnering with channel holders 9 months out to create bottoms up forecasting, maintaining forecast changes, and managing budget End-to-end program management working cross functionally with teams across operations, creative, finance (i.e.: item set up, COGs, forecasts, creative briefs, COGs) Partner with our Data Analyst to pull monthly allocation report; communicate monthly report with channel holders to optimize inventory use and ensure samples are being allocated to forecast Prepare Bi-annual Promotions market week decks Help maintain an on-time budget for monthly reporting and reconciliation Ability to prioritize programs and problem solve to help meet channel holders needs; for example, coming up with a different sample to utilize if we run out ship something late


Partner with channel holders on driving promotional marketing strategy for key retailers across media, sampling, visual merchandising, pre-launch strategies, etc. Manage marketing activation opportunities by liaising with retailer accounts, negotiating co-op, developing marketing calendar, writing creative briefs, and delivering final files for launch Ad hoc job-related activities Some travel in the US required



Must have 3-4 years of demonstrated ability in events marketing and promotions strategy Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel (V-Look Ups) and PowerPoint Must be an excellent team player with the ability to build, foster and nurture relationships with cross-functional and retail partners Must possess creative, analytical, organizational and communication skills Problem solver who can deal with ambiguity Action and result oriented Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills Bachelor's Degree in related field of study, Marketing preferred
