Marketing Director


MARKETING DIRECTOR ABOUT THE ROLE WHAT YOU’LL DO  Create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy plan across all brand marketing efforts, including setting tangible goals/KPIs to measure the success of marketing and creative campaigns across the business  Lead strategy, conception, and execution across: content creation and marketing strategy, email marketing, PR and media outreach, influencer marketing, partnerships, social media, events, campaigns, and other efforts to drive brand awareness and conversion . Lead all brand messaging, content strategy and creation initiatives to be used across various channels including website, email, social, and more. Partner with team to define brand guidelines across all customer touch points . Ensure brand messaging and customer experience is consistent throughout all customer touch points . Lead internal PR and media outreach efforts, in conjunction with external resources, to drive earned media . Cultivate relationships with influencers and organizations to develop brand evangelists and form partnerships/collaborations . Manage graphic and visual content creation including photography and video for all touchpoints . Work closely with other departments to support all initiatives and projects – ensuring they are aligned with brand/marketing efforts, and enabling the team to meet their objectives by providing appropriate tools, materials, and presentations . Provide hands-on direction and leadership; managing the day-to-day activities of the marketing team to ensure the team is meeting objectives . Stay up to date with industry and technological changes that impact the business – maintaining ongoing knowledge of marketing best practices and keeping an eye out for creative marketing opportunities . Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trend to ensure the company’s marketing strategy is competing effectively . Understand and translate consumer insights into market/segment specific solutions . Lead and assume responsibility for Marketing budget forecast and management THINGS YOU’LL NEED . Bachelor's degree or its equivalent required . Ideal candidate will have at least 6-8+ years of experience in a related field . Demonstrated track record of successfully developing a brand . Ability to manage a budget and work across channels to set and report on KPIs . Confident, driven and dynamic leader - management and leadership experience . Consistently ideate and cultivate environment of idea generation within the team . Ability to execute in short-term while simultaneously developing long-term strategy . Experience working in an omni-channel environment, where engaging and consistent content are required for multiple distribution channels in a nonlinear consumer journey . Expert communication skills with the ability to write, and speak in a variety of styles and media . Proactive, conscientious, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously . Deep empathy and emotional intelligence . Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with a high degree of professionalism
