Fashion Production Accountant
One of the world’s leading artist management agencies and full-service production companies, seeks a Fashion Production Accountant
Reports To: Accounting Manager
Tasks:Work closely with producers in New York and overseas to track all costs incurred during preparation, shooting and post-production phases of jobs Prepare and submit invoices to clients based on budget details after approval from the producer, make revisions to invoicing when necessary Enter production vendor invoices into accounting system (Accpac) and process expenses and check requests in a timely manner Make the department manager aware of any accounting or documentation problems/discrepancies Prepare monthly earnings statements for the artists Review expenses incurred by artists and apply them towards payments Create, update and maintain the progress of open jobs through the use of a Job Tracker Assist in month end preparation by preparing charts that analyze artists’ earnings through revenue recognition Attend and participate in weekly accounting department meetings Meet departmental expectations and deadlines Perform other tasks/duties as management deems appropriate to meet business needs

Requirements:Very precise with numbers and reporting Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting or Bachelor’s degree with similar work experience 3-5 years of account management skills or similar, related industry is a plus – but not required Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines Willingness to learn and work closely within a team environment
