Ecommerce Specialist

Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for creating product listings, refining content, tracking sales, monitoring stock levels and have overall P&L responsibility for our ecommerce business. Operate on all platforms on a day to day basis to ensure our products generate sales and enhance product ranking. Come up with strategic sales and promotional plans for products with ability to track sales results and profitability. Develop ecommerce advertising strategy. You will create, enhance, edit and troubleshoot product listings to ensure data is mapping correctly and appearing as intended on all sellers’ platforms Perform site audits by cross-referencing data in MS Excel Mine data for specific details according to instructions provided, and upload information onto prescribed databases with total accuracy Upload spreadsheets using Bulk Upload templates

 

Writing/Editing:

Responsible for maintaining and creating new product listings by coordinating with other team members to obtain optimal copywriting, graphic designs and product images. Write new and existing product setups, edit and correct them as needed Proofread and edit product descriptions and information Regularly review customer feedback and communicate with team members for product development needs. Check and confirm the data work for accuracy

 

 

Merchandising:

Determine key product placement based on category and customer objectives Work with management on product development by providing product and market research, competitor analysis and pricing guidelines within online product offerings. Identify untapped product opportunities and markets for further business development.

 

Profit & Loss:

Create a budget and have P&L responsibility for the ecommerce business Work with management to set strategies designed to grow the businesses’ revenues and profits.

 

Experience and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years experience in fine jewelry online product management Minimum Bachelor’s degree Must have P&L experience Previous online product management in fine jewelry is required. Excellent written skills with knowledge of jewelry terms To succeed in this position candidates must be a detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated. Advanced proficiency in Excel Working knowledge of E-commerce platforms/EDI, Commerce Hub Quick learner and operator with speed and accuracy Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Willingness to take initiatives & responsibility for completing projects. MUST be a closer. Positive attitude, honesty, integrity, reliability, prompt communicator and punctuality
