Our Production Department is looking to add a leader to the team, responsible for managing our approach to staging successful events and multifaceted projects for our clients.

As the Production lead, you are an experienced professional with strong client service talents. You demonstrate flexibility, creative problem solving, and the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously. You have a demonstrated capacity to keep your eye on the big picture while never losing sight of the details that add up to a production’s success. You are a leader who always works closely with your team – a coach and team player.
WHAT A DAY IN THE LIFE WILL LOOK LIKE:
You will oversee all production projects, supervise full-time and freelance staff, and will work with the Account Management and Creative Departments to deliver and execute flawless and successful programs. Throughout the day you will:Drive the agency’s vision for excellence across all facets of pre-event production, onsite management, and post-event breakdown for events: Implement best practices for the creation of all event documents including internal project timeline, work back schedule, venue decks, budgets, site plans, production schedule, and contact list. Inform new business proposals with production-specific expertise on concepts, feasibility assessments, and budget development. Mentor and coach an in-house team of producers on projects they lead and on their career development. Ensure production processes are being followed, by full-time staff and contracted project freelancers. Collaborate with all departments to guarantee clients’ business goals and vision are being met. Be accountable for complex event budgets, from concept to reconciliation, ensuring profitability. Lead Production staff resourcing, in collaboration with Operations team. Work closely with Account Management on best-in-class client communications, to nurture trust and consistently deliver transparency. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:
You must have:8+ years’ experience in event production roles, managing budgets up to $1million++. Strong leadership and managerial skills. Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize under tight timelines in a fast-paced environment. Strong vendor relationships and negotiation skills. Aptitude to be a hands-on manager willing to roll up their sleeves and get the job done. Personality, creativity and desire to bring positive energy to the workplace. Solid budgeting experience; building and managing budgets of various sizes and complexities. Organized, self-starter, team player. Proficiency in Excel and Keynote. Bachelor’s degree required.
