Beauty Supply Chain Manager

This position is responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing all supply chain activity for beauty brand. As the manager of production + supply chain activity across the beauty business, this role will be responsible for all PO placement, purchasing management, timeline development, vendor relationship management and replenishment for the Brand’s product development and manufacturing needs relationship management and follow-up with third party vendors, working with the Planning team to ensure safe stock levels, as well of ownership of timeline development and management for all production.
About Your ResponsibilitiesOwn Production Timelines & Management. Oversee the placement of all componentry and formula purchase orders, work with Director of Operations to approve and plan out cash flow after purchase order placement, develop production timeline, and vendor follow ups until project completion. Manage Production Purchasing. Manage PO development, entry and payment tracking within supply chain operations for Beauty. Report all expected cash requirements needed with leadership team and work with accounting on invoice pricing discrepancies, shipping errors or quality issues with vendors. Vendor Management. Owns relationship with third party vendors once source has been identified and costs aligned, including vendor setup, BOM development, follow ups, formula & component testing logistics, shipping + pickup management, kitting, and problem solving as issues arise. Cost Management Support. Works with heads of Ops and Beauty to track updates in COGS and drive down costs as much as possible within the supply chain while maintaining brand equity. Inventory & Planning Support. Work with head of Beauty and Planning Team on product setup, forecast and inventory management for all componentry and finished goods for beauty, including managing lot tracking/expiration dates at the warehouse of finished goods as well as replenishment needs to ensure proper stock levels. Sourcing Support. Assist head of Beauty in quoting and sourcing of componentry on relevant projects, such as new kits or commercial innovation (e.g., new sizes, back bar)
Cross-Funcational Partnership. Work with marketing, sales, product development, planning and finance to complete all duties necessary to continue operations flow of Beauty.
Qualifications3-5 Years in a Production/Supply Chain Discipline Cosmetics/skincare industry experience preferred Comfortable in an agile, startup environment (both high level strategic + detail-oriented mindset) Familiar with ERP or production management systems (e.g RLM, SAP) Strong organizational and project management skills Excellent analytical skills & expert in Excel Strong knowledge of retail math, financial forecasting, sales planning Understanding of end-to-end beauty product launches, including regulatory requirements & expiration constraints College Degree required
