Maximize sales revenue through effective management of line plans and calendar. Manage development of new categories and new channels of distribution as well as special projects. Manage strategic seasonal line plans for all channels of distribution in all categories, from start to finish. Responsible for line plan from pulling past data & analyzing selling & market trends, to building out final plan & subsequent updates. Analyze past and current season selling, customer feedback and industry trends. Create line lists and update all relevant documents through the season to effectively communicate changes with cross functional partners. Own seasonal market sample order, updating through season. Own all merchandising based RLM uploads and market sample orders. Provide detailed analysis of current and past season selling data. Responsible for updating design team on best and worst sellers, including learnings for future seasons. Work closely with design to continuosly merchandise the line throughout the process; lineplans, sketch form, proto, and market samples. Set prices for all samples. Partner with preproduction to ensure margin goals are being met. Execute and manage all aspects of new product introduction within wholesale and own brand’s channels of distro. Partner with planning/sales to ensure investment strategy is in-line with merchandising and marketing goals and big ideas/ growth drivers are protected. Assort brand’s own channels to hit sales targets, align with seasonal strategic plans and support marketing messages. Pass-off direct channel buys to marketing team, and ensure all stories are clearly road mapped.
